The Flatiron NoMad Partnership, The NoMad Alliance, Madison Square Park Conservancy and The Jazz Gallery are excited to announce NoMad Jazz Festival, a weeklong celebration of music, culture, and community happening August 3–10, 2025.

This summer event offers an exciting opportunity for local Flatiron & NoMad businesses to get involved by being a Venue Host for live jazz performances or by offering Special Promotions.

“Gardens of Renewal” on view at Madison Square Park

Madison Square Park Conservancy has opened Gardens of Renewal, a collaborative project between artist Lily Kwong and the Conservancy.

Gardens of Renewal takes shape across the Redbud and Sparrow Lawns, each with an intricate pathway that provides visitors with opportunities for play, learning, self-reflection and ecological awakening.

Construction Notice: The NYC Department of Design & Construction (DDC) announced pedestrian ramp construction will soon begin at various locations in Manhattan and Queens to upgrade ramps to ADA specifications. The anticipated completion of the entire project is September 2026. Location specific advisories will be distributed 72 hours prior to the start of work at each corner. Locations in Flatiron and NoMad include Madison Avenue from East 23rd Street to East 36th Street.   • Five Boro Bike Tour: Sunday, May 4th, 7 am – 12 pm along Sixth Avenue through Flatiron & NoMad

 

Street Closures:

  • East 21st Street between Broadway and Park Avenue South will be closed from 8 am – 6 pm Saturday and 9 am – 6 pm Sunday through 5/11/25 to facilitate crane operation.
  • West 22nd Street between Sixth Avenue and Fifth Avenue will be closed from 6 am – 3 pm Saturday and Sunday (no work 5/4/25) through 5/11/25 to facilitate crane operation.
