New Neighbor: Wonder

We’re excited to welcome Wonder, a new food tech startup founded by entrepreneur Marc Lore. Located at 128 West 23rd Street, Wonder offers “Fast Fine” dining through featuring a collection of delivery-first restaurants.

“We’re excited to serve our selection of chef-curated restaurants to our new neighbors in Flatiron and NoMad: the residents, small businesses and corporate offices in the area,” says Daniel Shlossman, Chief Growth and Marketing Officer.

Wonder is open daily from 11 am – 10 pm. Order online for delivery or pick-up.

Outdoor Dining Bill is Passed

New York City Council passed Int.31-C, the permanent outdoor dining bill, last Thursday, August 3.

The bill will allow outdoor dining on sidewalks year-round and on city streets April 1 through November 29 each year.

DSNY Announcement: Food-Related Businesses Must Containerize Waste

The NYC Department of Sanitation (DSNY) is implementing a new rule to send rats packing. As of August 1st, all food-related businesses in NYC must use rigid containers with secure lids when setting out trash for collection.

Per recent setout rules, businesses that place waste on the curb have two options:

  • Place waste at the curb one hour before closing or after 8:00 PM

 

DSNY is hosting a series of one-hour information sessions through August 28th. Please register for sessions in advance by clicking here.
