Mayor Adams Begins Public Review on Midtown South Mixed-Use Plan

NYC Mayor Eric Adams and NYC Department of City Planning (DCP) Director and City Planning Commission (CPC) Chair Dan Garodnick announced the start of the public review process for the Midtown South Mixed-Use (MSMX) plan, a visionary proposal to foster vibrant, 24/7 mixed-use neighborhoods across 42 blocks of Midtown South.

“The launch of the public review process for the Midtown South Mixed-Use Plan marks a significant milestone in shaping the future of New York City’s built environment,” says James Mettham, President of Flatiron NoMad Partnership.

Construction Notice: The NYC Department of Design & Construction (DDC) announced pedestrian ramp construction will soon begin at various locations in Manhattan and Queens to upgrade ramps to ADA specifications. The anticipated completion of the entire project is September 2026. Location specific advisories will be distributed 72 hours prior to the start of work at each corner. Locations in Flatiron and NoMad include Madison Avenue from East 23rd Street to East 36th Street.
