Weekend Activations & Street Closures
Plan ahead for a busy weekend in and around Flatiron & NoMad!
- Street Festival:
- There will be a street festival on Sixth Avenue between 23rd Street and 34th Street this Saturday, June 29th from 10 am – 7 pm.
- NYC Dyke March:
- The NYC Dyke March will step off from Bryant Park at Fifth Avenue and will proceed south through Flatiron and NoMad to Washington Square Park beginning at 5 pm this Saturday, June 29th.
- NYC PRIDE March:
- The NYC PRIDE March will step off from 25th Street and Fifth Avenue at noon this Sunday, June 30th. Marchers will proceed south on Fifth Avenue through Flatiron before continuing to Greenwich Village and Chelsea.
- Main traffic detours will begin at 10 am with step off at 11 am.
- The following streets through Flatiron and NoMad will be closed to vehicle traffic for staging, formation, and operations: Fifth Avenue south of 26th Street as well as the following cross streets: 33rd Street to 25th Street between Sixth Avenue and Madison Avenue.
- Pedestrians will be able to cross east and west at East 23rd Street and Fifth Avenue and East 21st Street and Fifth Avenue.
- The Flatiron North Plaza will also be closed for staging and operations.
