Throughout June, we’re spotlighting the joy, creativity, and inclusivity that make Flatiron & NoMad a place where everyone is welcome to gather and celebrate love in all its forms – through vibrant placemaking, the iconic Pride March, and support for our LGBTQIA+ owned businesses across the district.

Midtown Transportation Plan: World Cup Truck Delivery Notice

As New York City prepares for the global sporting event, temporary corridors will be put in place in Midtown Manhattan for World Cup-related transportation.

For local businesses, truck deliveries in Midtown will be restricted six hours before each NY/NJ Stadium Match begins until three hours after each match concludes. The truck restrictions will be in place on match days only between 30th Street and 60th Street, from East to Hudson rivers. In Flatiron & NoMad, these restrictions will impact 30th – 32nd Street.

Pride March Logistics Business Webinar: Save the date! Representatives from the Heritage of Pride, the official organizers of the NYC Pride March, and Flatiron NoMad Partnership will be hosting an informational NYC Pride March Logistics Webinar on Wednesday, June 17th. This meeting is intended for Flatiron NoMad businesses and stakeholders.

CB5 Parks Survey: Community Board 5 is looking for your feedback on how our local parks and plazas are used as well as how you feel about these public spaces. Please take a moment to fill out the survey.

Neighborhood Activations:

• Philippine Independence Day Parade: Sunday, June 7th, 10 am – 7 pm, Madison Avenue from 38th Street to 24th Street

Street Closures:

• East 27th Street between Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue will be closed from 7am to 2pm Saturday and Sunday through 6/6/26 for building inspection and façade repair from a boom truck.

Con Edison Work Notices:

• Now – Friday, June 5th, from 7am – 3:30pm, Con Edison will perform ECS support work and continue hand care excavations at the intersection of East 29th Street and Fifth Avenue.
• Now – July 31, Con Edison will be performing gas upgrade work on West 26th Street between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue on weekdays from 9am – 4pm.
