June is Pride Month, a celebration of the civil rights of the LGBTQ+ community and commemoration of the 1969 Stonewall Uprising. On Sunday, June 30th, the NYC Pride March will step off from 25th Street and Fifth Avenue at noon.

Neighborhood Activations:

  • Hare Krishna Parade: Saturday, June 8th from 11 am – 1 pm on Fifth Avenue from 45th Street to 8th Street.
  • Street Festival: Sunday, June 9th from 8 am – 8 pm on Sixth Avenue between 23rd Street and 34th Street.

 

Street Closures:

  • West 25th Street between Sixth Avenue and Seventh Avenue will be closed from 5 am to 3 pm Saturday, June 8th to facilitate crane operation.
  • West 24th Street between Fifth Avenue and Sixth Avenue will be closed from 5 am to 3 pm Saturday and Sunday through June 16th to facilitate crane operation.

 

Con Edison Work Notice:

  • Con Edison will be doing gas upgrade work on Fifth Avenue between 26th and 27th Streets on Saturdays from 8 am – 6 pm and Sundays from 9 am – 6 pm through August 30th.
