NYC Pride Returns

June 23, 2022

 

Get ready for NYC Pride 2022! This Sunday, June 26, the NYC Pride March steps off from 26th Street and Fifth Avenue at noon. The grandstand will be located at 25th Street and Fifth Avenue on Worth Square. Expect heavy pedestrian and vehicular congestion in and around the neighborhood. There are several street closures from Sixth Avenue to Madison Avenue for event staging and operations.

Plaza & Street Closures

The Flatiron North Plaza will be offline beginning Sunday morning, as will public seating on NoMad Piazza. The Flatiron South Plaza, and the Flatiron Plate kiosk, will remain open to the public. Pedestrian crossings on Fifth Avenue will be limited to 23rd Street and 21st Street in Flatiron. The following streets will be closed on Sunday for operations, staging, and television broadcasting:

  • Sixth Avenue – 24th to 33rd Street
  • Broadway – 23rd to 33rd Street
  • Fifth Avenue – 8th to 26th Street
  • Madison – 23rd to 33rd Street

Prepare Now

  • Stay up-to-date with the latest NYC DOT Traffic Advisories
  • Businesses, consider shifting deliveries to dates other than this Saturday & Sunday
  • Property managers, coordinate with trash and recycling services to work around the weekend schedule
  • Use public transportation (MTA, PATH) or Citi Bike instead of driving or taking Uber/Lyft/taxi
