NYC Deputy Mayor for Housing, Economic Development, and Workforce Maria-Torres Springer will be our Keynote Speaker for this year’s Annual Meeting.

Community members are encouraged to join as we dive into the data points and trends of the neighborhood and the work we’re doing at the Flatiron NoMad Partnership.

The Great Broadway Sweep: Volunteer Cleanup

The Sanitation Foundation and WE♥️NYC are leading The Great Broadway Sweep, a volunteer cleanup of Broadway from Monday, September 18th through Friday, September 22nd.

There will be nine morning cleanups starting on both the north and south ends of Manhattan, including in Flatiron next Wednesday, September 20th from
10 am – 12 pm. Meeting location will be 23rd Street & Broadway.

Neighborhood Activations

  • Street Festival: Sunday, September 17th from 8 am – 8 pm on Sixth Avenue between 23rd Street and 34th Street.

 

Street Closures

  • East 26th Street between Park Avenue and Madison Avenue will be closed from 6 am – 3 pm Saturday, September 16th and Sunday, September 17th to place crane on roadway to lift green roofing materials and trees.
  • West 26th Street between Seventh Avenue and Sixth Avenue will be closed from 5 am – 3 pm Sunday, September 17th for use of knuckle boom to hoist telecom equipment.
