Latin Grammy winner and six-times Grammy nominated pianist and composer Emilio Solla was born and raised in Argentina and has been living in NY since 2007.
La Inestable de Brooklyn is a nine-piece orchestra with an unusual instrumental combination which allows the composer to project textures and sounds evoking a wide range of styles and influences, from academic counterpoint writing to free improvisation, from traditional tango and Latin American grooves to a standard trio plus horns that brings at times the classical color of the greatest and most distinctly American art form: jazz music.
