Hearts of Gold: Back-to-School Backpack Celebration

It’s officially August and that means it’s Back-to-School season!

Each year Hearts of Gold distributes hundreds of backpacks to homeless children in NYC. On Sunday, August 7th from 1 – 4 pm, volunteers in the NoMad Piazza will be assembling backpacks with grade appropriate school supplies.

Alongside the assembling, the Flatiron NoMad Partnership will have family friendly games set up for an afternoon of fun, including Corn Hole, Jenga, Giant Connect 4, and more!

Thousands of dollars are spent each year to make certain the HoG kids have school supplies and backpacks. If you are able, HoG would LOVE for you to get involved and donate to the cause. No donation is too small. Kindly consider by visiting here and make a donation to assist in the efforts.
