Members Only Tour: War Stories, Spies, & Propaganda

4/4

119 W 23rd St New York Ny 10011

Members are invited to not one, but two back-to-back curatorial tours of our latest hallway exhibitions, Schoolgirls at War: French Propaganda Posters from World War I and With My Little Eye: Warnings for the Homefront.

Starting upstairs, Chief Curator Angelina Lippert will introduce guests to France’s largest all-female rationing campaign from World War I, exploring how children were used to create propaganda for the country during its darkest hours. Afterward, on our lower level, guest curator Tim Medland will break down the different ways Allied countries warned their citizens of espionage threats during World War II.
