Open auditions for the Resident Youth Ensemble of TADA! (RYET) ARE NOW OPEN!

WHERE: TADA! Youth Theater, on 28th Street between 5th and Broadway in midtown, NYC

WEAR: Auditionees should attend wearing clothes in which they can move/dance, eg. sweat pants/leggings,  sneakers/jazz shoes, no jeans, and all jewelry removed.

WHAT: We don’t require auditionees to prepare anything in advance!

• Once they arrive on their audition date, they’ll sign in, receive a name tag, and join other auditionees.
• Together as a group they will learn 16-32 bars of a song and dance number from our musical director and choreographer then perform this in smaller groups.
• These are closed auditions, so all Parents/Guardians must drop off their auditionee and come back to pick them up afterward.
• We will invite some auditionees to callbacks via email, during which they will once again (as a group) learn 16-32 bars of a song and dance and then read scenes with someone else in the room.
• Auditionees will then receive a phone call either inviting them to audition again, or welcoming them to the RYET program.

AUDITIONS 2nd-6th GRADE

• Saturday, June 1st, 12:00pm-2:00pm
• Saturday, June 8th, 2:30pm-4:30pm
• Wednesday, June 12th, 4:30-6:30pm
• Friday, June 14th, 4:30-6:30pm
• Saturday, June 15th, 12:00pm-2:00pm

AUDITIONS 7th-12th GRADE

• Saturday, June 1st, 2:30pm-4:30pm
• Friday, June 7th, 5:00-7:00pm
• Saturday, June 8th, 12:00pm-2:00pm
• Saturday, June 15th, 2:30-4:30pm

All auditionees must be available for invited callbacks on Friday, June 21st, 4:15-8:00pm and Saturday, June 22nd, 12:00-6:00pm.
