A special evening curated by Rizzoli and dedicated to contemporary Italian literature, bringing together authors for readings, music, and audience engagement. The program combines literary readings, a live musical performance, and a collective signing aperitivo in one immersive experience.

The event marks the final day of SuperBook – the “Prize of Prizes,” a new initiative by the Italian Cultural Institute aimed at promoting Italian literature in the United States.

Program

  • 4:30 PM – Doors open
  • 5:00 PM – Introduction and author readings. Participating authors will read a short text from their own books: Nicolò Cavallaro, Nicola H. Cosentino, Teresa Ciabatti, Anna Mallamo, Wanda Marasco, Leonardo San Pietro, and Diego De Silva.
  • 5:30 PM – Concert inspired by Italian literature
    An extemporaneous soundscape inspired by Italo Calvino’s Invisible Cities, with Giacomo Merega, Terry McManus, Jonathan Moritz, and Rosalie Kaplan, in collaboration with the Rizzoli Music Aperitivo Series, curated by Mondo Jazz.
  • 6:00–7:00 PM – Aperitivo & collective signing
    Light aperitivo with prosecco and taralli.
