New York, NY – May 2025 – After 15 years of serving impossibly thin, crispy, and crave-worthy pizza, TAPPO is moving—to a new home at 32 East 21st Street in the heart of the Flatiron District. The NYC staple will reopen its doors the first week of May, bringing back its signature old-school soul, and “free-to-be-you-and-me” attitude—where pies can be classic or wildly creative. Half-and-half? Piled high? Clean and simple? At TAPPO, anything goes.

Part of the NYC Thin Crust Pizza Group, which has been serving New Yorkers for 25 years, TAPPO stands out for its neighborhood feel, creative menu, and uniquely satisfying thin crust pies. The move marks a homecoming and a quiet act of resilience—an extension of the TAPPO story through one of the most challenging eras in New York restaurant history.

“Despite the challenges, we just kept making pizza,” says Owner/Founder Antonio Gomez. “We’ve always been about good food, good people, and staying true to who we are. Our new home is a continuation of that story—we are incredibly grateful for the community that stood with us and kept the spirit alive. This is a fresh start, built on that support—and a whole lot of pizza.”
