The Love Suite: In Mahogany is five movement suite composed by Roy Hargrove in 1993. It was commissioned by Lincoln Center and Roy and his then quintet, with the addition of two special guests, performed it at Alice Tully Hall in September 1993.
It hasn’t been performed in its entirety since then.

Last year the Roy Hargrove Legacy worked with JALC to release the album of the concert and it was released in October on their Blue Engine label: Roy Hargrove – The Love Suite: In Mahogany.

This will be the first time the entire suite has been performed since the original concert.
