About Risha Gorig
I am a multi media artist working in sculpture, painting, music, film and dance. I am interested in metaphors of time and death and combining forces of nature like wind, rain, water, and sun in my pieces propelling them to another time and place. In my work I try to convey fragility using nature and its elements with the boundaries of the concrete jungle we live in today. I love Public Art as it gives me the opportunity to see how people from all walks of life have an exchange with my sculpture/installations. How do we coexist between the boundaries of nature and the urban landscape we all share now? This is what I am hoping to share and convey. Sculptures as Poems.
