E-Waste Recycling Day

Wednesday, April 16th

Bring your old electronics to donate at our E-Waste Recycling Day on Wednesday, April 16th from 10 am – 2 pm at the Flatiron South Plaza.

In partnership with the Lower East Side Ecology Center (LESEC) and Madison Square Park Conservancy, be a part of this green initiative during Earth Month! During E-Waste Recycling Day, hear from the LESEC’s Curbside Composting Building and Resident Support program, designed to help residential buildings meet the requirements of the city’s mandatory composting initiative.

We accept working & non-working computers, monitors, printers/scanners, keyboards, mice, cables, TVs, VCRs & DVD players, phones, audio/visual equipment, cell phones & PDAs.

BONUS: The donor with the most e-waste will win a FREE Shack Party (for up to 20 guests and $500 value) from Shake Shack in Madison Square Park! 🍔🍟 Read for full Terms & Conditions.

Car-Free Earth Day

Saturday, April 26th

Car-Free Earth Day will be held on Saturday, April 26th from 10 am – 4 pm. Hosted by the NYC Department of Transportation, this annual citywide event celebrates Earth Day with select city streets open for walking, biking, and car-free strolling.

Join Flatiron NoMad Partnership on the Flatiron South Plaza as we host family-friendly interactive programming in celebration of Car-Free Earth Day! Engaging activities will include a small box art activation led by a local artist and architect, ping pong tables from SPIN, corn hole, and Connect Four.
